Time Coins

I was on a school's field, running around. A bunch of other groups were running around as well, some fairly young; we may have been on some sort of school trip.

I decided I needed a snack, and went up to the snack stand. Apparently some sort of catastrophe was about to happen though, so no one was manning the stand. I was from another world, and would be gone before the catastrophe occurred, so I wasn't concerned. But I didn't want to take or buy any food unless there was someone at the booth.

Eventually an old haggard lady came up behind the counter, and I started to pay for some food. However, she demanded "time coins," which I had never heard of. Apparently you could turn them in to go back in time; each coin was worth so many years. At this point I suspected that she wasn't really supposed to be running the booth, but was just trying to scam me.

Noticing someone moving past me, I looked around me. The person I'd noticed looked a little like someone I knew, just a good ten years older. His older self had lots of small braids in his hair, with all of the braids bound together at the back of his head in a sort of pony tail. I called him by name and he looked around, asking who I was. I told him my name, but he didn't seem to recognize it particularly. He was in a hurry, apparently having come back in time to do something specific. I also saw glimpses of other people who I though had come back in time.
