A Day of Life

I was back at my high school and had just finished a particularly crazy exam, during which the teacher had constantly changed the problems we had to do and sent us to other rooms to do them. I had gone to another room to do one of the problems the teacher had changed and when I got back I found out she had changed it again, and all my work had been for nothing. This made me very angry, but I was soon finished with the test.

After the test, we were milling around the room where some people may have still been working. But the teacher, an older woman with grey hair who had been a substitute at my high school, suddenly turned the music up so loud that you couldn't hear yourself talk, and could barely hear yourself yell. This made it impossible to complain to her about the exam, and I went into a frenzy, yelling and barreling out of the room. One of my high school friends picked me up, commenting that I was a wild cat. I started hissing and raking the air with my hands to demonstrate this fact as he carried me towards the exit of the building.

I saw my girlfriend with a group of other people, but she didn't see me. I was very happy to see her after the long exam, as I hadn't seen her in some time. Before I could reach the group one of the other people mentioned how they had to leave right away, and they all started down the stairwell. The stairs were very long and turned in a tight circle.

I raced after them and shouted my girlfriend's name. She looked around and then started running towards me, but since I was still running forwards she zoomed past me. I slowed down, and as she came back down again we met. I took both of her hands, and we started descending the staircase together. Soon the stairs narrowed, pushing our arms together. We exited onto a sort of playground. With a caress, I took one of her hands.

Soon we were in some sort of MMORPG. She was used to this game, and I had not played it before, so she ran ahead as I tried to figure out the controls. I could still see her name above her head, despite that she was far in the distance. I ran close to many high level players along the side of the road who were wearing impressive armor and fighting monsters. My girlfriend warned me to not stray too near to them because I might anger them and then they might attack. Eventually I made it to a clearing where she was waiting.
