Gelatin Thumbs

I was sitting in a car, listening to a story on the radio about a group of teenagers who had cut their thumbs off and then tried to sew a gelatin replacement on their hands. The procedure had gone wrong, leaving them with no thumbs.

I then began imagining what it would be like to eat without a thumb, and pondered with pictures flowing through my mind how easy it would be to eat various foods.
